Become a Member

All members of SLCA receive a password to this Web site (accessing additional pages) and receive occasional mailings with our newsletter and other relevant information. We will never sell our mailing list to anyone. There is no financial or geographical requirement to become a member, just a personal declaration that you wish to become part of our community.

Please read the following declaration. If you support it, we would love to have you join us!

• I understand the SLCA’s philosophy and basic teachings. I am aligned with them, and I place a high priority on my spiritual growth.
• I am an active, involved member of this spiritual community, and I help to maintain its open, accepting, and supportive atmosphere for all people.
• I understand the value of living and joyful giving. I include the Center in my financial planning, realizing that my support is important to its growth and success.
• I appreciate the value of volunteers to the function of the Center. I will treat all volunteers and employees with courtesy and respect for their efforts.
• I understand that this Center is part of the greater Atlanta community, and I accept that some of its programs will include participation in that community.
• I act with constructive harmony towards those who attend the Center. I teach others through my example by demonstrating growth and change in my life, and by living the spiritual principles that I have learned.
