Shoebox Project

10AM – 1PM.

Community Outreach for Homelessness in conjunction with the United Way.

We will host a work party to assemble hygiene donations, and decorate shoeboxes at SLCA on Sat, April 28, 10AM – 1PM.

We are collecting shoeboxes and hygiene items for the homeless, but do not bring to the Center until the 28th.
In the meantime, please rummage through your closets for empty shoeboxes and start collecting hygiene items to fill them. Here is a list of NEED and DO NOT NEED:

• Toothpaste
• Lip Balm
• Rain Ponchos
• Hair Comb / Brush
• Travel Size Shampoo
• Socks
• Deodorant
• Hand Towels
• Sunblock
• Adhesive Bandages
• Travel Size Lotion
• Tampons
• Sanitary Napkins / Liners
• Antibiotic Ointment
• Prepaid Phone Cards
• Travel Size Soap

NOT Accepted:
• Food
• Medicine
• Mouthwash
• Razors
• Sewing Kits
• Used or Opened Items
