Affirmation

I refuse to allow caution and logic to rule my life. They have a purpose, and I accept them as occasionally useful. But sometimes I need to throw caution to the wind and logic out the window. Sometimes, even if the chasm looks too wide, I need to close my eyes and leap, knowing that Spirit supports me.

Affirmation

Life moves in rhythms that I can’t always see, but I know they are there. The ebb and flow of Life touches everything: prosperity, love, creativity and health. The inhale and exhale of my breath, the flow of blood to and from my heart. I celebrate the never-ending circle of Spirit as it moves through me.

Affirmation

Whenever I say, “It’s not my fault,” the universe smiles and says, “Oh, yes it is.” I joyfully accept responsibility for every experience in my life. I never blame myself for my life’s problems; instead, I celebrate my ability to overcome them. Whatever it is, if I created it, I can un-create it.

Affirmation

The most interesting roads are frequently those that wind and turn, with the occasional dips and bumps. My spiritual path does not need to be smooth. I prefer it to be interesting. A stone in the road never blocks my path; it simply requires me to choose a new path in another direction.

Affirmation

A mind focused negatively on my past or future does nothing to help me. Shame and guilt are useless emotions based on past experiences. Worry is useless because it fears something that has not yet happened. I focus on my present thoughts, and I choose only those that uplift me and support me.

Affirmation

No matter what I see, it is only part of the picture. There is always something more to know, something deeper to experience, and something better to create. This is not a challenge; it is an opportunity. I step back and look at each part of my life as it relates to the Whole. That Whole is God.

Affirmation

Failure is sometimes nothing more than a success that turned out differently than I had anticipated. When failure occurs in my life, it teaches me things. It shows me what I need to learn. It shows me my weaknesses. It shows me that I need to try a more creative approach. Any failure can lead to success.

Affirmation
Many of the things I am searching for in life are right in front of me. To see them, I need to look at Life differently. I need to change my focus. I need to change the direction of my vision. I need to see with eyes that are completely open to the world as it unfolds before me.
