  • Visit Paul’s Talks on this site.
  • Scroll (or search) to display the talk you are interested in.
     

  • Press the “Play” icon.
  • Be sure your computer speakers are not muted and the volume is acceptable

Listen/Save/Subscribe in iTunes

  • Click on this link <http://tinyurl.com/slca-podcasts> to launch your iTunes application. Or start your iTunes application and search for SLCA Atlanta in the iTunes Store.

  • To listen to a talk, double click on the title of the talk;
  • To save the talk to your iTunes library (for later download to your iPod/iPhone), click on the “Get Episode” button of the talk (see #1 above). Click on Podcasts in the left column (see #2); the folder Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta will have the talk(s) that you downloaded.
  • To subscribe to the SLCA podcast, press the “Subscribe” button (to the right of to SLCA logo, # 3 above)

Download to iPod/iPhone

To download the talks to your iPod 

  • Save the talk(s) in your Podcasts folder (see above)
  • Synchronize your iPod

To download the talks to your iPhone

  • Save the talks in your Podcasts folder (follow instructions above);
  • Connect your iPhone to the computer;

  • On the left column be sure that your phone is selected under Devices (see #4)
  • Select the folder Podcasts on the top right (see # 5)
  • If you are synchronizing  All Podcasts, it is done; if you are synchronizing Selected Podcasts, check Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta (see #6)
  • Synchronize your iPhone

Download as MP3 

Using iTunes (Windows or Macintosh)

  • Choose iTunes > Preferences, click General, and then click Import Settings.
  • In the Import Using pop-up menu, choose the format MP3 Encoder, and then click OK to save the settings.
  • Select one or more songs in your library, Option-click (right click on Windows, or “<control> click” on a Mac), and choose “Convert Selection to MP3” The song in its original format and the newly converted song appear in your library.

Talks after August 2009 (any OS)

  • Click on the name of the talk, and it will expand to show a audio player icon and a “Download” link (labeled “2″ below):

  • Click on the link to download the MP3 file to your computer’s hard disk.

Talks before August 2009 — Using Georgia Podcast Network (any OS)

  • Follow your system’s instructions to save the MP3 file to disk

Download to non-iPod MP3 player

  • Download the MP3 file as outlined above.
  • Copy the file to your MP3 player, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Burn a CD

Using iTunes (Windows or Macintosh)

  • Create a playlist (File - New Playlist)
  • Move the talk(s) you want to record to CD from Podcasts to this playlist
  • Follow the iTunes help instructions to “Create an audio CD” 

Using another application

  • Download the MP3 file as outlined above.
  • Use the “help” of the application you are using to burn/record a CD
