Ken Wilcox

The most important role for our new Spiritual Director will be to hold in consciousness the highest possibilities for our Center. We are a dynamic spiritual community uniquely suited to bringing the good news of our teaching to our region. I see us as a growing community where there are educational or social activities for our members available each night of the week. I see our Center as a pipeline of volunteers to our larger community. I see us as a place where people can rise to the height of their spiritual growth and launch personal ministries from the bedrock of our success. I see us raising a generation of adults who will go out into the world knowing that they are loved and supported by the benevolent and enlightened God-consciousness within them.

This is good, vital, important work. The Universe will support us in our efforts, because if we can accomplish our vision we will indeed change lives and change the world.

And So It Is!

Chris Michaels

Chris Michaels is a national speaker, author and ordained religious science minister. In 1990, he founded the Center for Spiritual Living in Kansas City, Mo. As an educator and spiritual life coach, he has helped thousands of people understand the basic spiritual principles that govern life. With over two decades spent studying the spiritual nature of life, Chris is a leading authority on the new spirituality movement.

Chris is the author and co-author of several books, including Your Soul’s Assignment, Spirit is Calling – A Daily Journal, and The Prosperous Life Journal. In addition to performing speaking engagements at conferences, retreats and special events, Chris was recently a guest on Martha Stewart Living, heard on Sirius satellite radio.

Rev. Mary Murray Shelton

Talk: What Butterflies Know

Rev. Mary Murray Shelton is an inspiring speaker, author, and facilitator with a theatre background. Rev. Mary has pastored two large churches: in Santa Rosa and in Huntington Beach, California, and was the Founding Minister and Community Spiritual Leader of Global Heart Center for Spiritual Living in Santa Rosa. She has served on the United Centers for Spiritual Living International Board twice, and served as a Director of the Holmes Institute School of Ministry.

Rev. Mary’s book, Guidance from the Darkness is used for both practitioner and ministerial training. Her workshop this afternoon on Thriving Through Change is based on material from her book.

Rev. Mary has been a popular UCSL Asilomar speaker and workshop facilitator over her 20 plus years in the ministry, and she has spoken at conferences in Peru, India and Russia. She facilitates an annual Women’s Circle Retreat each spring for CSL Greater Las Vegas that is open to registrations from other CSL churches. Currently she is working toward a PhD in Psychology.

Dr. David Ault

For more than 25 years, David Ault has traveled the world as a New Thought musician. He is an ordained minister through Centers for Spiritual Living, a global speaker, and workshop/retreat facilitator. He currently serves as the Founder and Spiritual Director of a New Thought center in the beautiful port city of Mobile, AL; Conscious Mile Center for Spiritual Living. He continues to travel, write, coach, and speak adhering to a personal mission to assist all in reawakening to their personal magnificence.

Dr. Dennis Merritt Jones

Throughout his lifetime, Dennis Merritt Jones has been on a quest to inspire and lift people to a higher expression of life. His personal vision is to guide people to their purpose, knowing that when a person is fully awakened to who they authentically are and why they are on the planet, they begin to naturally share their gift with humankind and, in the process, create an enriching life for themselves and the world around them. Dennis believes each one of us has the capacity and, ultimately, the responsibility to contribute something positive to this world, leaving it a better place than it was when we arrived. His teachings promote a contemporary, life-affirming, spiritually logical and positive outlook on life, which are reflected in his writings. He says, “A positive thinker grounded in their spirituality is the most powerful person on the face of the planet.”

Dennis founded the OneSpirit Center for Conscious Living in Simi Valley, CA, in 1985. While the Spiritual Director of OneSpirit and as part of his outreach to assist people in living a more balanced life and rewarding life, he created a TV program entitled “One Power” which was cablecast in the Los Angeles area. Subsequently, he later hosted “Wisdom Teachers”, an internet program where he interviewed contemporary and spiritual luminaries such as Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jonathon Young, Barbara Fields, Lissa Coffey, Mary Manin Morrissey, Walter Starke, Terry Cole-Whittaker, Kusala Bhikshu, John Astin, Mark Vicente, producer of “What The Bleep Do We Know”, and many others.
