Women in Truth – WIT

At  Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta

We come together on the fourth Sunday of every month to foster a greater awareness of ourselves as spiritual beings. We aim to get a deeper understanding of the teaching through sharing experiences and embracing the support of each other on this unique journey to our authentic selves.  Some monthly meetings feature speakers and activities and other meetings are dedicated to spiritually enriching discussions.

We recognize our valuable, unique feminine energy. With true compassion we know we are able to be of service to ourselves, our center and our communities.  It is our intention to provide opportunities for WIT members to participate in community service projects.

Maintaining our spiritual practice helps us to evolve and expand our consciousness. We are open to new and richer ideas for all areas of our lives. Each one has her own combination of activities that constitute a daily practice. We encourage Treatment / Affirmative prayer – a unique powerful tool created by our founder Ernest Holmes, with a format of five steps – Recognition, Unification, Realization, Thanksgiving and Release. We encourage all participants to create and experience their own treatments. (SLCA practitioners are always available for support, to guide and answer any questions you may have).

WIT is a great opportunity to work on your individual spiritual practice and honor your intentions with the loving support of peers on a similar path. As a team of Women in Truth we can be a powerful force in achieving change within our own lives, and the lives of those around us, as we expand our conscious of who we are as expressions of an Infinite Intelligence.

We encourage each other and continue to build an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality for maximum success.

We recognize the natural inclination for women to create bonds of friendship and WIT strives to provide events and activities where women come together to socialize and have fun, including women’s retreats.
