EXPERIMENT IN INTERNATIONAL LIVING – HOST FAMILIES NEEDED FROM JULY 23-27

The Experiment for International Living is bringing a group of 11 high school students to Atlanta as part of an experience for learning about civil/human rights. During their time in Atlanta, the group of students will visit historical and significant civil rights sites. They are currently looking for families to provide a homestay for the five nights from July 23-27, with a farewell picnic on July 28. The homestay helps provide the students an opportunity to talk with local citizens about what they are learning and experiencing. While the homestay does not pay monetarily, the reward comes from knowing you have helped tomorrow’s leaders better understand civil and human rights from the ground up. Homestay families are asked to provide a bedroom, daily breakfast/dinner and engaging conversation with Experimenters about southern culture, Georgia, current/historical issues and civial and human rights. Families are also invited to attend the Civil Rights tour pending number of seats available.

For more information, please contact Ruth Blackstock at 404-406-2917. To learn more about the program, visit experiment.org/USA
