Minister of Atlanta Outstanding Religious Organization Receives International Award.
Geneva, Switzerland…The 2013 Be The Change Award, honoring individuals living the example inspired by Ghandi’s moral ideal to be the change we wish to see in the world, integrating personal, spiritual practice and global activism, has been awarded to Rev. Dr. David Ault. Rev. Ault is the Senior Minister of Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta (SLCA) in Atlanta, GA. SLCA has been awarded “Best of Atlanta Outstanding Religious Organization” since 2011 and is an affiliate of parent organization Centers for Spiritual Living. It has been in existence and enlightening Atlanta with New Thought/Ancient Wisdom teachings for over 30 years.
In a ceremony held this week in Geneva Switzerland, the award, sponsored by the New Thought European Conference Council, recognized Rev. David for his influential contributions in spreading metaphysical principles throughout Europe as well as his decade long work in bringing sustainable quality of life services and free education to countless children throughout the Siem Reap province of Cambodia.
Through his non-profit Khmer Child Foundation, Ault has raised funds to build a school, a sewing facility and a life skills tech center along with the development of a fine arts curriculum serving more than 200 children annually. His non-profit also provides fresh water well facilitation programs, having currently constructed more than 100 water wells throughout the surrounding villages of Siem Reap.
Past recipients of this award include singer Tina Turner, Regula Curti and Dechen Shak-Dagsay for their Children Beyond recording project, bringing together 30 children from different cultures and nations, singing prayers and mantras from the religions of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism to promote global peace and inclusion. The recording was a major hit, achieving platinum status in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
