Consider Liberated Pathways to a New Way of Being

Dr. David Ault Cycling round and round and getting nowhere. This is what life consists of for many in our world. There is a saying ‘if they knew better, they’d do better’ but I don’t find that to be an accurate sentiment. I believe many of us know better but our addictions to creature comforts and fear of change prevent us from embracing an alchemical transformation of self from something perceived to be limited and oppressed to someone liberated and powerful beyond measure. September’s theme is titled Consider This.  Each week you......

Dr. David Reminds Us Life Demands Transformation

Peace is felt in an atmosphere of surrender. An atmosphere of surrender is available through letting go of the conventional. Letting go the conventional requires the understanding that there are far more options available to consider than what you’ve seen modeled by others. The risk of being labeled foolish will actually nurture peace in your heart. Playing it safe will not. I realize that to be in integrity with the demands of transformation within myself, I must risk looking foolish as well as risk other’s judgments and the accompanying feelings of abandonment.......

Rev. Susan Zoller Invites You to Enter the Mandala

BY REV. SUSAN ZOLLER Growing up, spiritual understanding seemed much like entering a movie theater.  Walking in to view the film, a wall greeted you that blocked the light.  To be seated required a walk around either end of the wall.  The screen and seating were then visible. I was behind that wall, frustrated others were seated and seeing the film, not knowing how to enter and unable to see the show. Despite my desire, understanding God, by whatever name known, was something others could do.  For me, it remained elusive.  Something......

The Spiritual Law of Supply

The Spiritual Law of Supply

The recent funeral for Beau Biden, son of Vice-President Joe Biden, was one of the most poignant public displays of love that I have ever witnessed.  President Barack Obama had difficulty holding back tears as he talked about what a good man Beau Biden was.  He shared personal stories of Beau’s humor whispering in the President’s ear at fundraisers or his prioritization of family by riding the escalators with his son at the Democratic National Convention instead of hanging out with donors in the back rooms.  The eulogy was personal and touching. ......

How Overcome Your Fears and Find Your Freedom to Flourish

When you were a kid, do you remember being scared of the dark? Do you remember needing a night light or asking to keep the door to your bedroom open so the hall light would help keep the dark monsters away? In my case, it was the clothes monster. My sister and I shared bunk beds, and we had a chair in the corner of the room. My sister would always pile her clothes on the back of that chair and when I’d wake up in the dark, in the middle of......

Unnecessary Roadblocks

Unnecessary Roadblocks

I was telling my mother about two recent incidents that were both surprising and remarkable. A woman that I only knew through Facebook contacted me about my origami butterflies. She’d seen the butterflies at a party I attended where I gave them as a gift, and she loved them and wanted to know if I had more for sale. I was thrilled. I’d been making the butterflies for over a year, just for my own pleasure, but I’d secretly longed to sell them. And here was my opportunity. Another woman whom......

How to Get Out of Debt

How to Get Out of Debt

Write By:

Working with heart centered entrepreneurs and service based business owners, I’ve heard a lot of gut-wrenching stories. Most begin or end with debt. Whether you are in debt $10K or $70K isn’t important, what is important is how you resolve that debt and how quickly you can get yourself out from under it. I’ve been $70K in debt (not including mortgage or car) three times in my life. I’m not proud of that, but it does make me uniquely qualified to share with you specific strategies that work to resolve the debt.......

Are You Doing Your BEST Today?

Are You Doing Your BEST Today?

Write By:

Several weeks ago I was asked to do a short presentation about the collaborative book F.A.I.T.H. – Finding Answers in the Heart. Following your heart was a given, then came the title “Trusting Your Inner GPS (Guidance Protective System).” I loved the title but I also wanted an acronym for people to use, something to cement the information in their minds. A handful of days passed before I found the phrase “Are you doing your B.E.S.T. today?” The first thing that popped into my head was a flash from the Army advertisement......
