SLCA is partnering with UUCA's the Immigrant Action Team for a holiday gift drive for the International Rescue Committee's unaccompanied children program. Most of these children arrive in the US with very little. Through our holiday gift drive, we want to provide items—like toys, books, and comfort essentials—that remind them they are cared for and valued.
Visit the Christmas tree in the hallway on November 30th and December 7th and choose an 'ornament' (or 2!) to sponsor a child. Gifts will be collected on December 7th and 14th.
