Rather than continue our healing, it seems we have cannibalized our fear of “the other” and have turned on our fellow citizens in an ever-increasing rise of vitriol, distain, and contempt for our neighbor.   We’ve divided and labeled and ascribed moral value to those labels.  We are witnessing the genocide of rationality and a deep entrenchment into ideological camps that keep us separated.  We’ve been busy in the last 20 years building a virtual twin tower of ideological isolationism.  Us and Them.  That’s what unhealed pain does.  It isolates, protects, and lashes out......
