First introduced to Religious Science while working in New York City - Kennedy Shultz became a pillar of the organization. As founder of the Atlanta Church of Religious Science, one of the fastest growing churches in the movement. He also served as President of Religious Science Interntional and was a highly sought ofter speaker at New Thought functions around the country.
Dr. Shultz retired in July of 1999, and made his transition on Sept. 13, 1999.
in July of 1979 J. Kennedy Shultz started gathering and teaching at the Admiral BenBow in Atlanta. Schultz was not yet a minister, but his friends were adiment that he start the gatherings. He became the founding minister after his graduation in the following months.
Religious Science International officially recognized and granted the charter for the Atlanta Church of Religious Science.
The President of the Religious Science International Board of Trustees, Dr. Kenn Gordon sends his blessings and certificate comemorating the churches 30th anniversary.
In the churches third decade, it welcomes its 3rd minister to lead. Dr. David Ault spearheaded a season of growth and change as the community branched out and purchased its own building for the first time.
in 2012 the two branches of Religious Science organizations completed their historic birthing of a new organization to carry their legacy forward: Centers for Spiritual Living.
After 1 year on the SLCA speakers council in 2018, the SLCA Board extended an offer to Dr. David and family to become the 4th Spiritual Director in SLCA's history.
