“You belong to the universe in which you live, you are one with the Creative Genius back of this vast array of ceaseless motion, this original flow of life. You are as much a part of it as the sun, the earth and the air. There is something in you telling you this—like a voice echoing from some mountain top of inward vision, like a light whose origin no man has seen, like an impulse welling up from an invisible source.  Your soul belongs to the universe.”

- Ernest Holmes, This Thing Called You

Our Commitment to You
Building inclusive spiritual community

Our commitment to inclusion, belonging and community runs through everything we do.  Inspired by our founder, Ernest Holmes and his call for a philosophy grounded in the principle of Oneness - we hold ourselves to account to build a radically inclusive and brave space that honors the dignity of our humanity in all its varied expressions.

We use prounouns.

We seek to make quotes and readings gender inclusive.

We seek authors and sources that are diverse and intentionally include women and people of color in our source works.

We seek music that inspires and uplifts, sourced from diverse streams of inspiration.  We seek to alter lyrics for inclusion where possible without violation of copyright or dismissing the power of metaphor that runs through religious music.

We are not perfect, we will make mistakes and from those mistakes we will learn and grow.
